Throughout the entire process everyone we spoke to at East Coast were all professional and responsive. The crew that did the installs were some of the hardest working people I have met... We are more than happy with the way everything turned out.

Review from the Homeowner

I'm located in Massachusetts. We needed to replace our roof and after a lot of research decided that a metal roof would be the best option for us. We wanted a roof that would last, be low maintenance, shed snow, and we liked that metal roofs are more energy efficient and reflect light and will save on energy bills. We called East Coast and Maurissa sent us a list of homes close to us that they had installed roofs on and we drove around checking out the work and were impressed with how many they had done close by and with how they looked. We decided to move forward and the project coordinator Andrew came by on a Friday night and spent almost 3 hours with us looking at our roof and discussing options. He gave us quotes and the pricing was in line with what we were thinking and we signed a contract. It then took only 2 weeks for the materials to get shipped to our house, a dumpster delivered, and then the crew to start. We have a roof with dormers that are almost flat that the original builders put shingles on, and really shouldn't have with how low the pitch is and we were having some issues with it. We were originally thinking we would need a rubber roof, but Andrew showed us a PVC material they use, and it seems to be a much better quality than the rubber, and is also reflective and like the metal, will reflect sun and reduce the amount of heat transferred into our house saving on energy bills. We also mentioned issues we were having with the roof and our gutters getting complexly frozen and then having large ice dams around them in winter. Andrew pointed out that our old 4" gutters were installed incorrectly – to close to the shingles – and not pitched correctly – and offered that they could reinstall them for us correctly since they needed to take them down to do the roof, or the option to replace them with larger 6" gutters. We decided to replace them with the larger gutters and they installed the new ones correctly. They look great and there crew that did them did a great job and walked us though everything, talked to us about options and they made some modifications to way our old ones were setup. Throughout the entire process everyone we spoke to at East Coast were all professional and responsive. The crew that did the installs were some of the hardest working people I have met - they worked 12 hour days and always kept things clean. We are more than happy with the way everything turned out. I'll try to remember to update this review in a few years after we have gone through some winters and storms.
