We got our twenty year old double shingled asphalt roof replaced in February and have been pleased with our metal roof. The Duralock aluminum shingle by the Aluminum Shingle Company (ECMR is the contractor who installs it) outperforms our asphalt roof by a wide margin. We have noticed our house stays warmer now and have used less oil in our oil furnace than usual. Looking forward to staying cooler in the summertime too as the shingle is painted with a special paint that reflects radiant heat from the sun. The crew that installed was fabulous, they worked hard and kept their worksite clean and our driveway clear of metal screws and nails. We have a Victorian era house with decorative woodwork and part of the wood was rotting. ECMR at no expense capped it off so it would deteriorate no longer. Thank you! The company has financing available to make the roof within reach of a modest budget. Thanks to Sergei, Doug and Taft for making our experience a pleasant one.
