Review from the Homeowner

East Coast Metal Roofing replaced the roof on our 108-year-old two-family house and detached garage. They did excellent work, and we were favorably impressed with all aspects of the project. Each stage of the work was supervised by someone from their quality control section, and done in a timely fashion, by a responsible and reliable team of skilled and knowledgeable workmen, who showed up each day on time and worked a full day. They were polite and communicative. In fact, the entire team responded promptly and respectfully to any of our questions or concerns. One particular concern was potential damage to our landscaping. Before beginning any work on the roof, the team set up structures to protect our gardens. As a result, no significant damage was done to our landscaping during the project. Their thoughtfulness also extended to our neighbors, an important factor when houses are in close proximity. In re-roofing the garage, for instance, the workmen were extremely careful when dealing with the debris that fell into the yard of a neighbor with small children. In another instance, one of the supervisors showed considerable tact and diplomacy dealing successfully with a cantankerous next-door neighbor. We were very impressed. Shortly after the new roof was installed, we had our house appraised. The appraiser took particular note of the high quality of the roof. The slate style and color that we chose also fit in well with the other homes in the neighborhood. At some point in the future, we want to have solar panels installed on the roof. The light weight of the metal roof will be an advantage when adding the weight of the solar panels to the roof. Also, East Coast Metal Roofing will work with the solar company to ensure proper installation. Everyone involved in this installation demonstrated a high level of skill and professionalism. We highly recommend East Coast Metal Roofing to anyone looking for a roofing contractor.
